Vegetable equivalent (according to What to Expect iPhone app): Small Cabbage
Total weight gain/loss: 13 lbs. (2 lbs this week!) So at the doctor's visit, she said "You have gained a good amount of weight since your last visit." Clint and I looked at each other and started laughing. Not sure if that was her nice way of saying "slow down" but truly, nothing is different with my diet or exercise than it's been through the whole pregnancy (or at least the second part when I could keep food down!).
I do hope I slow down on the 2 lb weekly weight gain, but I'm still on the low end of what I'm recommended to gain, so I'll keep up a healthy balance of diet/exercise and make sure my little man gets all the nutrients he needs!
Maternity clothes?: I got a few new dresses this week for my baby showers coming up. It's just not fun shopping for maternity clothes any more though! I did manage to find one dress that wasn't maternity that didn't look completely frumpy on me though so that was a highlight.
Sleep: Still sleeping well, just waking up about 3 times a night to pee. I've trained myself to get back into a deep sleep quickly, so it hasn't been a problem so far (knock on wood!)
Best moment this week: Our 4-D ultrasound this week was so cool, we got to see our little guy :) The ultrasound tech said he had exceptionally light hair (Clint), long eyelashes (me), long fingers (Clint) and pouty lips (me). I couldn't stop looking at how cute he was and it makes me even more excited to meet him in a couple months.
Movement: Every day!
Food cravings: Clint is no help here - the Frosty thing is HIS craving that somehow I end up giving in to also :)
Anything making you queasy or sick: Not at all.
Labor Signs: No
Belly Button in or out? Flat.
Wedding rings on or off? On during the day, but I've noticed some swelling in my hands in the morning. Very uncomfortable.
Happy or Moody most of the time: I would definitely admit to being moody. I hope that passes.
Weekly Wisdom: I am going to switch this one and give some advice. I did my glucose test this week (still waiting on results), and I want any pregnant woman or mom-to-be to know it wasn't that bad! I've heard horror stories about how gross it was, but I really thought it tasted just like Gatorade!
Looking forward to: I am so excited for my baby shower in Ohio next weekend. So many friends and family members are traveling in for it and I can't wait to see them all and celebrate Baby Borm. Oh, and finally deciding a name! I think we've picked one we are both getting comfortable with, but we're not ready to make any announcement yet. Either way, we're so thankful this boy is healthy and we have the blessing of being his parents :)
